Dr. Mamta Bhatia (Associate Professor), a recipient of the prestigious Indian Science Congress Young Scientist Award (1987) is the senior most faculty. She specializes in Reactor Physics and her current area of interest is Solid State Physics. She is an avid painter and is actively involved in dramatics and music. Presently she is on deputation in the Campus of Open learning (University of Delhi), Keshavpuram Centre, as an Officer on Special Duty.
