Innovation is understood to broadly include invention of a new idea, putting into practice and exploiting it in a manner that leads to value addition or quality improvement. Innovation also means creation of new and efficient technology and employing out-of-the-box thinking to generate quality values and to bring about significant changes in society. All endeavours constantly crave innovation as a necessity and inability to innovate, leads to their decline and finally extinction. In the current scenario, it becomes mandatory to expose students at an early age to the concept of innovation and ignite their young minds to think and act accordingly.
