Faculty Achievements

Distinguished Teacher Award

This award was instituted by the ‘University of Delhi’ to acknowledge excellence in teaching of college faculty. This award was based on the feedback from students taken by the then honorable Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Deepak Pental. Three faculty members of ANDC were selected for this award:

  • Dr M.S. Rajeswari (Department of Botany)
  • Prof. Sarita Kumar (Department of Zoology)
  • Prof. Seema Makhija (Department of Zoology)

The award consists of a certificate and a momento citing the recipient's outstanding teaching ability. The award was presented by the Late Ex-President of the country, Dr Abdul Kalam Azad on September 5, 2009.
