Excursion

Excursions are a very important part of a student’s life. They play a crucial role towards learning as well as promoting personality development of the students. Keeping this in view, the Department has been actively organizing excursions to a variety of places like, Shimla, Mussoorrie, Dalhousie, Dharamshala, M'Cleodganj, Mount Abu, Udaipur, Jim Corbett National Park, Manali, Chamba, Khajiar,Sariska Wild life Sanctuary, Ranthambhore, Yamuna Biodiversity Park, Aravalli Biodiversity park, IVF centre etc. The students also heartily participate in these excursions which help develop qualities of resourcefulness, self- confidence, initiative and leadership among them. excursions play a pivotal role in overall development of the students as an unhindered environment allows them to open up with the teachers as well as with their fellow students. The students develop social skills and carry beautiful memories of these excursions. The education as well as experimental material collected helps students to learn and plan experiments in a better way and allows them to remember and execute plans in future moving away from the traditional methods of research. excursions prove as fun methods of learning, planning and execution on one hand and on the other hand as ways of development of responsible individuals.
