Career Counselling & Placement Cell

Acharya Narendra Dev College has an active Career counselling and placement cell (CCPC). The convenor of the Placement cell is Dr. Kavita Mittal and the placement officer is Mr. Sanjay Vohra with other six faculty as team members. All the students of third year courses who are interested in placement after graduation can register by filling a form. CCPC chooses students as coordinators also who got chances of coordinating placement drive events in the college.

The CCPC encourages all the third year students to register even if they want to continue studies after graduation. This is due to the fact that CCPC regularly organises career related talks and counselling sessions for free. It provides unique opportunities for the students to interact with recruitment officers from various reputed companies. The students get an experience to appear for the test and interview. They also get an idea about the essential qualifications and skills required for various jobs.

Every year many reputed companies like Royal Bank of Scotland, Workgen Solutions Pvt Ltd., EY GDS Assurance, Concentrix Daksh, Wipro, LIBSYS and many others come to the College for placement drive with many of the students who apply get selected. The CCPC under Mr. Sanjay Vohra also arranges for the internship programmes for first and second year students. The interested students are encouraged to contact the Placement officer to apply for these programmes. This also provides a platform for internship of second year students through various companies and Internshala.

Process of Placement (sequential): The company contacts college. The Placement officer communicates with the company to plan the details of placement programme. The students registered in placement cell are informed through email, whatsapp group, notices and posters. The interested students register for the placement drive. The placement drive includes presentation, followed by online/ written test. The successful candidates are then called for interview either on the same day or later in the company. The college is informed about the selected candidates.

2022-23

  • Campus Placement Drive organized on 15th March, 2023.
  • Free Product Management Bootcamp from 30th January to 27th February, 2023.
  • Organized a campus placement drive with DeltaX, a pioneering cross-channel digital advertising platform on 17th January 2023 from 11:00 AM.
  • Organized Concentrix Placement Drive in college campus on 11th January, 2023; 11:30 AM.
  • Talk session and interaction with Link Foundation Group for Short term Professional Certificate course for Women organized on 9th November and 16th November, 2022.
  • Netflix Aptitude test series conducted by Zuno by Monster.
  • Organized a Masterclass on Digitization and Automizing Campus Recruitment process on 4th November, 2022.
  • Seminar on ‘Career In Civil Services’ with Adda 24|7 (IAS) on 27 September 2022 for the student of IIIrd Year. The guest speaker was Mr. Prabhat Singh (IRPS 2019 batch).
  • Organized a live interactive session entitled “Tata STRIVE Google Scholarship Programme” in collaboration with Tata. The event was held on 22nd September, 2022 at 12:30 PM in offline mode in seminar hall.
  • Organized a CV writing workshop on 15th September, 2022; 12:00 PM.
  • Webinar on "Various Career Opportunities after Graduation" by Unacademy on 4th September 2022; 12:00 PM
  • Chartered Financial Expert (CFX) Programme organised on 5th August, 2022.

2020-21

  • Purple tutor conducted test for online coding teacher on 20th February, 2021.
  • QX Global Services selected six students as trainee apprentice on 8th January, 2021.
  • Royal Bank of Scotland conducted placement drives and selected 5 students on 7th January, 2021.
  • Wipro Placement drive was organized wherein 5 students were selected on 10th December, 2020.

2019-20

  • Session on Opportunities in Assurance by EY GDS on 20th September, 2019.
  • Opportunities as Financial Analyst in IT Industry by Wipro on 25th September, 2019.
  • Session on Opportunities in Customer Service & Operations Analysts by Royal Bank of Scotland on 28th January 2020.
  • Session on How to Earn while Learn by Wipro under its flagship programme Wipro WILP programme on 22nd January, 2020.
  • Session on Opportunities in BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) by Concentrix Daksha on 3rd February, 2020.
